Bespoke Hall Solutions
PWD has delivered audio visual solutions to many of educational establishments. Education has the most diverse range of applications especially with its multi-purpose spaces and the broadest range ofuser capability, from pupil to technician. The installation we deliver will be high quality, reliable, versatile and above all simple to use. Furthermore, we will teach you and your staff how to use and care for the equipment. Although, if you can use a smart phone or tablet, or know a student who can, then our kit is child’s play.
From a theatrical production to an assembly or an emergency across site announcement, we ensure that you will be seen and heard. Whatever your project, we’ve probably done it multiple times before. We will guide you step by step through the design process and work directly with you, your staff or in the case of new builds, architects and contractors to take the worry off your shoulders. Remember, early engagement on refurbishments and new builds allows you to specify exactly what you want while avoiding the expense of remedial work to the infrastructure.

At PWD we understand that your interactive display will be the at the centre of your lessons all day every day.
Interactive screens are now much more than a large display at the front of the class. The technology that comes with them now give you the option to create and deliver entire lessons.
With so many different brands on the market offering a range of different features it can be hard to know where to start looking.
That’s why we’re not tied down to one particular brand and can help narrow your search down to the two or three brands that meet your schools unique requirements.
Whether you’re looking for a budget brand that offers the most cost-effective solution for the school or looking at a long-term strategy with the latest and greatest software, we can help.
Brooke School (Part of the Unity Multi Academy Trust)
Ben Mathews – IT Manager
Situation before PWD: Brooke School had a legacy ICT equipment in 20+ classes in the school, this was a mix of older computer equipment and projector/whiteboard displays. As part of a modernisation program for the school, we wished to replace all of their classroom technology equipment with a standardised approach to hardware and software as well as a scheme of training to ensure that we got the most from our investment.
How PWD helped: The team at PWD talked through our requirements, what we were aiming to achieve and the presented technical solutions that best met our goals. Once we’d narrowed down thetypes of equipment we were looking for the team at PWD were instrumental in arranging demonstrations, meetings with vendors and Q&A sessions with them. In addition, they arranged on site hardware trials and meetings with the Vendor’s training and implementation teams. This ensured that we fully understood both what we were looking to implement, the lifecycle of the equipment and how best to implement it.
Why did the school choose PWD: We chose the team at PWD as whilst providing the most support and comprehensive partnership in our program of work they were able to offer all the services we required at a much more competitive price than alternatives whilst also providing the best service and support from both them as the Supplier and their partner vendor of hardware.
